We value the role of sound academic methods in research training, placing emphasis on structured thinking, collaborative reasoning and problem-modelling skills.
MeritPoint Academy places great emphasis on the fundamental role of sound academic methods in research training. We focus on methodological frameworks such as E-CARGO and Role-Based Collaboration, which are designed for complex collaborative systems. We emphasise understanding research problems from the perspectives of roles, tasks, capabilities and collaborative relationships, and we advance analysis, modelling and representation in a structured manner.
We hope that through their research training, students will gain not only project experience and published papers, but also an awareness of research methods, the ability to analyse problems, and the ability to express themselves clearly and accurately—all of which are essential for navigating the real academic world.
